Sunday Mass, SL
Sunday Mass at St. Luke’s is a joyful and loud affair! Organ led music and singing, incense, bells, and vestments. A traditional mass using the Church of England’s liturgy with lots of movement and noise. Children take part in our Sunday School at the back of church and toddlers roam free. It’s the ultimate expression of family care and worship. You’re warmly welcomed and can find out what to expect here. You can also download the order of service using the…
BCP Mass
A beautiful said BCP (Book of Common Prayer) Mass. Offered in the beautiful church of St. John’s this quiet, calm, and uplifting service will leave you renewed in the grace of God.
Family Mass
A new lively, engaging, and noisy, service of worship, prayer, and the mass here at St. John’s. Join us from 10:30am for coffee & donuts, a great start to your Sunday. Grab a paper and have a natter before we move into our worship at about 11am. There’ll be talks for the children and activities to help them learn about the bible and what it means to be a Christian – it’s also the perfect service for a christening. After…
Evening Prayer
A service of evening prayer at St. John’s on the 3rd Sunday of the month. This quiet and beautiful service will lift your heart and make your soul sing. Some months we will be treated to a choir and we’ll get to experience a service of Evensong, other months we’ll simply enjoy the transcendent words of the Book of Common Prayer. It’s the perfect way to end your weekend and set yourself up for the week ahead. Quiet, calm, peaceful.
Team Evening Prayer
A service of Evening Prayer using the Book of Common Prayer. This service is a simple and quiet time to offer praise and prayer to God through the beauty of the BCP. It forms part of a new joint service with the Newton Abbot Team that will broadly be every 5th Sunday, although shifting slightly when it interferes with more important dates (like Advent Sunday). The service will travel around the parishes within the Newton Abbot Team, allowing you to…
